I have a very big love of urban design. Like, immense. It's just so fucking cool to me. Like, the way a city is set up and how it works and how people interact with it and how far apart things are and every element plays into how people feel and if they're actually happy about where they live or not. That's bonkers!!! So this is gonna be my little collection of cool urban design and urban planning things that have altered how I view the world and stuff!
The only book on urban design I've read so far is Happy City:Transforming Our Lives Through Urban Design by Charles Montgomery. Phenomenal read, 10/10 recommend, absolutely changed the way I will approach finding somewhere to live for literally the rest of my life. Cannot recommend enough.
